Birth control information

We provide individual counselling about birth control and pregnancy.

If you have a specific question about pregnancy, birth control, or the services we provide, it may be answered on our faq page. If not, these sites have good information about birth control and pregnancy:

The Toronto Public Health sexual health site offers information about everything from contraceptive foam to family planning. Scroll to the birth control section to learn more.

Women’s Health Matters includes facts about birth control methods, pregnancy, and includes a questionnaire to help you make choices. This site was developed by the Sunnybrook and Women’s College Health Sciences Centre.

For a general audience, sexualityandu.ca offers great information on birth control methods, options and tips. It presents advice about how to talk to your partner, as well as quizzes and tools. The site is administered by the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada.

The site also offers information specifically for teens, covering birth control and teen-oriented realities and issues. Subjects include everything you ever wanted to know about condoms, contraception myths and realities and emergency birth control options.
